I grew up in Washington, DC, and came from humble beginnings — I was hustling in the streets before I decided to go legit and build something real through real estate. When I tried to buy my first property, I found out fast that people like me weren't given access: no credit history, no financial literacy, no one around to teach us any of it. So I dug into extensive research and learned the rest through trial and error — deal by deal, over nearly ten years — until I'd built real expertise, turning overlooked opportunities into high-performing assets, working through every stage of the investment cycle: acquisition, renovation, and long-term portfolio growth. Marvern Ventures is what I built once I got there: a way to bring people like me the entire path — education, tools, mentorship, and the funding itself — so nobody else has to figure it out alone.
